Hina Khalid (Ph.D. Public Administration and Policy, University at Albany) is a Researcher in the Research and Data Analysis Division at the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services. Previously, she taught policy and economics courses at the Information Technology University as an Assistant Professor.

Hina’s research centers around understanding how politics, institutions, and resource allocation shape health policy and health outcomes. She has special interest in maternal and child health, infectious diseases, and health system strengthening.  She has been awarded several research grants from the Shahid Hussain Foundation (2019), World Health Organization (2020), Evidence in Governance and Politics Group (2021), and the International Growth Centre (2022).

She was a Fulbright Scholar (2012-16) and a scholarship recipient from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (2008-10).
