Ph.D. Development Economics and Econometrics: Yale University B.Sc. (Honors) Economics: Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS)
Dr. Farooq Naseer is a Research Fellow at IDEAS. Concurrently, he is also an Assistant Professor at LUMS (on sabbatical), where he teaches in the areas of econometrics, applied microeconomics and development economics, at both the graduate and undergraduate level. Before joining LUMS in 2006 he was a consultant with the World Bank Group. Dr. Naseer is also a founding member and fellow at CERP. He received his B.Sc. (Honors) degree in Economics from LUMS and went on to obtain his Doctorate from Yale University, where he specialised in Development Economics and Econometrics.
