Sharmeen Azeem

Sharmeen is a Project Manager working on the Women’s Political Participation project within the Governance cluster. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Politics from the Lahore University of Management Sciences. She recently completed her master’s in International Development from the University of Edinburgh through the Commonwealth Scholarship program. Her dissertation examined the social networks created by Afghan refugees living in Scotland.

Previously, Sharmeen has worked on a number of research projects spanning a range of themes, including child protection, inclusive education policies and women in policing.
