Ayesha has over six years of experience in programme management roles within the development sector. Most recently, Ayesha worked with the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) as part of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Sector Programme team where she was responsible for the disbursement of the annual KESP budget of roughly GBP 30 million to institutional partners delivering key educational reforms and infrastructural improvements to schools across KP. Prior to this, Ayesha was part of the founding team of the newly launched School of Education at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) where her role involved program design and academic management for their flagship MPhil degree programme.
In her current role, Ayesha is working on a rebranding strategy for IDEAS to leverage their network in a more impactful way. She developed the communications plan for the inaugural Pathways to Development Conference co-hosted by IDEAS, and has redesigned the website to showcase IDEAS’ work across different research clusters over the last ten years. She advises research teams on developing communication outputs for their respective projects.
