Deliver Ed

Project Duration: 2019 to 2022

The DeliverEd Research Program, a joint initiative of the Education Commission, the University of Oxford, and the University of Toronto, funded by the UK Government, explores the effect that delivery approaches have on the prioritization and implementation of key policy reforms across five different country case studies: Ghana, India, Jordan, Pakistan, and Tanzania, and builds on a rich body of policy-oriented literature on delivery approaches worldwide.

The DeliverEd initiative investigates what structures, processes, and practices governments are establishing to more effectively focus their bureaucracies and frontline professionals to achieve desired education policy goals.

It is a comparative study of governance reform in education between the Punjab and Sindh provinces, through interviews with high-level key informants from Sindh and Punjab, assessment of reform literature and processes, and a survey of bureaucracies. The program aims to define what evidence exists for their efficacy in improving education outcomes.
